Alice Irene Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, Alice Irene Beasley, 93, a resident of Dothan and formerly of Luverne died Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Doug and Richard Tisdale and Rev. Wayne Webber officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Armstrong is preceded in death by her son, Curtis Armstrong; daughter, Margaret Stephenson; granddaughter, Sandra Hopkins; four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by four children, Louise(George) Boswell, Carolyn(Quitman) Tisdale, Mary Ann(Wayne) Wilson and Jerry(Lynne) Armstrong; daughter-in-law, Debe Armstrong; son-in-law, Windham Stephenson; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Elliot and Luvene Pippin; one brother, Balford Beasley. Active pallbearers will be Justin Tisdale, Richard Tisdale, Zachary Smith, Jonathan Smith, Chris Armstrong, Brandon Esco, Eddie Billings, and Kevin Schultz. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30am until service time.
