Allene Beasley Mount

MOUNT, Mrs. Allene Beasley, 96, a resident of Luverne, AL died Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 3, 2013 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Stacey Harrell and Rev. James Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Mount is preceded in death by her husband, James A. “Bud” Mount; her parents, Frank and Zadie Beasley; and two brothers, Fred Beasley and Guy Beasley. She is survived by two “daughters,” Sally (Paul) Creel and Annette Chandler, three nieces, Edna (Willard) Horne, Guynese Eiland, and Betty (Allan) Clark; nephew, Thomas Beasley; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30 – 2:00 pm.
