ACREE, Mr. Alvin Herbert, 70, a resident of Troy, AL died Sunday, September 19, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2009 at Antioch Cemetery, Elba, AL with Rev. Lloyd Hodge officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Acree is survived by six children, Alice Teppenpaw, Arlene (Anthony) Cooper, Robbie Lundy, Gregory Acree, Jerry (Jean) Acree, and Anthony (Beverly) Acree; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Lois (Nelson) Motes and Sandra Henderson; and one brother, James (Nancy) Acree.
