Alvin Rodney Duncan

DUNCAN, Mr. Alvin Rodney, 58, a resident of Highland Home, AL died Thursday, April 22, 2010. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 2 PM from New Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. William Burns officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his parents, Derrick and Mazelle B. Duncan. He is survived by his sister, Joyce (Joseph) Eiland; his brother, Calvert (Teresa) Duncan; three nephews, Charles (Michelle) Mansmann, Christopher (Amy) Mansmann and Casey (Samantha) Mansmann; and 10 great nieces & nephews. Pallbearers include Charles Mansmann, Christopher Mansmann, Casey Mansmann, Colby Mansmann, Buddy Owens, and Bennett Gibson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
