Alyce Marshall Wilson

WILSON, Mrs. Alyce Marshall Wilson, 95, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 7, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Crum officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, John E. “Jimmy” Wilson, parents, Samuel “Sam” and Lee Ola Cullifer Marshall, sister, Delia Rae Marshall Cox, and brother, Walter M. Marshall. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Lillian Wilson, four granddaughters, Heather Wilson, Kelley Wilson, Lauren (Nick) Atkinson, and Savannah Wilson, great-grandson, Owen Atkinson, and three nephews, Charles Wayne (Nancy) Hill, Samuel C. Hill, and Robert W. Bryant, Jr. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Morgan, Ed Beasley, Kyle Richburg, Dale Brown, Tom Birtley, and David Smyth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 – 11 AM.
