Mrs. Ann Norris, 87, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
Mrs. Norris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was “Mom” to all of her children’s friends while they were growing up. Everyone knew they had a place there, in a home full of love and laughter. She delighted everyone who knew her with her antics, and those memories will be carried by all those she leaves behind for the rest of their lives.
Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her husband, Forest D. “Jim” Norris; their twin children, Judy and Johnny Norris; son-in-law, Rev. Clarence Crowe; parents, Boyd A. and Ruth Milligan Young; her twin sister, Nan Spangler, and five other siblings, Bernard Young, Bob Young, Chuck Young, Carl Young, and Ellen Boyer.
She is survived by her four children, Betty Crowe, Veronica (Ellis) Lewis, Craig Norris, Edward (Kae) Norris; two grandchildren, Amanda Lowe and Daryl (Jamie) Crowe; three great-grandchildren, Rebecca Leighann Lowe, Haleigh Michelle Lowe, and Eliza James “Ellie” Crowe; and sister, Carol Walton.
Active pallbearers will be Tommy Norris, Craig Norris, Ed Norris, Daryl Crowe.
A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family only due to the rules handed down by the State of Alabama during the current pandemic.
