Ann Odom Russ

RUSS, Mrs. Ann O., 65, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Funeral services for Mrs. Russ will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 17, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Mills Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Russ was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Rosie Lee Grayson Odom. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Archie L. Russ, three sons, John (Lynn) Russ, Jamie (Paula) Russ, and Joey (Jennifer) Russ, nine grandchildren, Courtney Blackwell, Brittany Russ, John Michael Russ, Aaron Russ, Justin Russ, Kami Tyson, LillieAnna Russ, Zoë Russ, and Trenton Russ, four great-grandchildren, Melodie Peters, Ian Peters, Aiden Tyson, Landon Whitman, brother, Ronald (Grace) Odom, four sisters, Peggy Campbell, Janice Kelley, Jenice (Mike) Stinson, and Rita (Bill) Burgans, and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Harris, Chris Jordan, Scotty Nichols, Dillan Harris, BJ Burgans, Jason Mathews, and Steve Odom. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 – 11 AM.
