McCARTHA, Mrs. Anna, 82, a resident of Abbeville, AL died Monday, May 2, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brett Hemphill officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne officiating. Mrs. McCartha is preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Marie McCartha. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Junior McCartha; three sons, Otha Ray (Paula) McCartha, Rockey S. (Emily) McCartha and Darryl K. McCartha; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Carrie Mae (Walter) Sanders. Active pallbearers will be Rockey McCartha, Joe Tidwell, Walter Sanders, Chad Sanders, and Tony Duncan.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:30 pm until service time.
