Annie Ruth Wilkerson

WILKERSON, Mrs. Annie Ruth, age 81, a resident of Luverne, Alabama died Thursday, November 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Malcolm Butts officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wilkerson; her parents, Rubin and Myrtle Holladay Motes; sister, Doris Campbell; and two brothers, John W. Motes and Ray Motes. She is survived by her son, Ronald Wilkerson; her grandson, William Ralph Wilkerson; two sisters, Phyllis Bryan and Jane Warren; and her brother, Nelson (Lois) Motes.Active pallbearers will be Jason Noble, Greg Bryan, Michael Motes, John Edward Motes, Jeffrey Bryan, Clay White and Donnie Broadway. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
