Archie Lee Russ

Archie Lee Russ, 83, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. Funeral services for Archie will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 10th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home. A private graveside service will follow in Mills Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Archie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years. Ann Odom Russ; their sons, John Russ and Jamie Russ; parents, Willie Lee and Ruby Lee Williams Russ; and all of his siblings. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Joey & Jennifer Russ; daughter, Carolyn Russ; daughter-in-law, Lynn Russ; grandchildren, Courtney Blackwell, Brittany Russ, John Michael Russ, Aaron Russ, Justin Russ, Kami Tyson, LillieAnna Russ, Zoe Russ, and Trenton Russ; great-grandchildren, Melodie Peters, Ian Peters, Xavier Counts and Ellie Counts, Remy Russ; Renly Mims, Koleson Mims, Kinsley Russ, Aiden Tyson, and Landon Whitman; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
