Arlene Cole

Mattie Arlene Cole, 73, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama and formerly of Luverne, passed away at Jackson Hospital on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023. No memorial service is planned at this time.

Arlene spent many years managing the Amoco gas station in Luverne. In her retirement, she often expressed her artistic side through coloring beautiful pictures for her loved ones and other residents where she lived.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cazzie Ray Cole; father, Harold Cole; and nephew, James F. Miles.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Beverly Renae Cole of Florida; siblings, Angelia (Robert) Brightwell of Montgomery and Charles (Karen) Ferguson of Monroeville; nieces, Hope (Justin) Trader of Alabaster and Kimberly (Jason) Ganatano of Enterprise; nephew, Charles (Myra) Miles of Orlando, Florida; and a host of grand nieces and nephews.
