Arthur Larry Bratton

BRATTON, Mr. Arthur Larry, 69, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. Memorial services were held at 2PM on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in the chapel of Turner Funeral Home of Luverne, who also directed. Mr. Bratton was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 10, 1945, and was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Claiborne Bratton and Ruby Collin Bratton. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Penelope King Bratton; sister, Sue (John) McKinney of Clanton, Alabama; brother, Dr. Joe Burton (Mary) Bratton of Odessa, Florida; two nieces, Kathy (James) Redmond of Knoxville, Tennessee and Ellen (Kenneth) Beebe of Palm Harbor, Florida; six nephews, Paul (Linda) McKinney, Phillip (Vanessa) McKinney, and David (Kim) McKinney, all of Clanton, Walter A. King of Atlanta, Georgia, Alan (Jennifer) King of Miami, Florida, and Eric Davis of Hong Kong, China; and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1pm until service time.
