WARREN, Mr. Aubrey Max, 88, a resident of Princess Anne, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Funeral services for Mr. Warren will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 10, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Stae Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery in Glenwood, Alabama with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Warren was born on September 24, 1929 in Glenwood to Terry E. and Nonnie Willis Warren, and he was raised in Crestview, Florida. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, as well as being an avid hunter and a member of the NRA. He was a recreational airplane pilot and a member of the Quiet Bird Men-Delmarva Hangar. Aubrey retired in 1989 from the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. after 29 years of service and was a member of the International Typographical Union in Savannah, Georgia. He was also the owner and operator of Sea Pride Crab House in Baltimore, Maryland from 1978 to 2014. Aubrey was preceded in death by his two daughters, Sherry Ann Brooks and Cynthia Gale Seward, three grandchildren, Ronald Warren Jr., Tina Monroe, and Bud Wilkerson, his parents, and two brothers, Thomas Warren and Leo Clyde Warren. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Jeannette Warren, whom he married on November 23, 1968. He is also survived by his son, Ronald G. (Sandra) Warren Sr., eight grandchildren, Dana Burke, Diana Morton, Shawn Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson, Joshua Burns, Matthew Warren, Michael Warren, and Evelyn Warren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, and a special friend, Jack R. White. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Providence Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 67, Glenwood, Alabama 36034. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 - 11 AM.
