Mr. Auther Lee “Bert” Frazier, 73, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Funeral services for Mr. Frazier will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 25th, at Danielville Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Looney officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mr. Frazier spent most of his life working as a tree surgeon in the timber industry. He was a simple man who didn’t require the material trappings of the world to make him happy. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and cheering on the Auburn Tigers Football Team. More than anything, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who cherished his family as his most precious gift. They will sorely miss him.
Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Bessie Lou Duncan Frazier; parents, Coady Lee & Exa Lee Hester Frazier; and brother, Arther Glenn Frazier. He is survived by his three children, Christopher (Karen) Frazier, Crystal Frazier (Lamar Daniel), and Melaine (Bobby) Tillery; five grandchildren, Ashley Frazier, LeeAnne Tillery, ShyAnne Tillery (Codi Drivas), Adam Crysell, and Elizabeth Crysell; two great-granddaughters, Hayley Scott and Elena Scott; and two sisters, Eleanor (Terry) Daughtry and Grace (James) Harris.
Active pallbearers will be Lamar Daniel, Adam Crysell, Gene Taylor, Cody Lee, Farron Frazier, and Brian Price. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 24th, from 6 - 8 PM.
