Bernice Owens Bradley

BRADLEY, Bernice Owens, 79, a resident of Brantley, AL died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Faith Walk Ministries with Rev. Derek Sowell and Rev. Leon Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Mills Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Linnie Reeves Owens, four brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Wilton Bradley; four children, Rita (Bob) Perdue, Cindy (Levon) McVay, Rickey (Joan) Bradley, and Mike Bradley; ten grandchildren, Justin (Alexus) Bradley, Nikki Bradley, Lindsey Drewery, Chris McVay, Summer (David) Rhodes, Isaiah Bradley, Ian Bradley, Joey (Jennifer) McVay, Leann (Chris) Canant, and Dawn (Timmy) Gonzales; eleven great grandchildren, Lilly Grace Sowell, Gunner Rhodes, Paxton Bradley, Hadleigh Smith, Harleigh Smith, Catlyn McVay, Hunter McVay, Torey Canant, Brady Canant, Emma Brooks, and Mason Gonzales. Active pallbearers will be Justin Bradley, David Rhodes, Isaiah Bradley, Chris McVay, Duane Rhodes, and Nick Adkinson. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be, Ian Bradley. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until service time.
