Bertha Louise Williamson

WILLIAMSON, Ms. Bertha Louise, 67, a resident of Luverne, AL died Saturday, July 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 1, 2011 from Centenary Assembly of God Church with Dr. Robert Carter and Rev. Lynn Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Ms. Williamson is preceded in death by her parents William James, Jr. and Lillie Mae Armstrong Williamson. She is survived by four sisters, Fae Coleman, Betty Gardner, Grace (Ken) Jackson, and Joyce (Wilber) Little; her niece, April Smith; three nephews, Gerald Gardner, Daniel Little and Bryan Little; a great niece, Erica Gardner; and two great nephews, Kyle Gardner and Andrew Kelley. Active pallbearers will be Billy Jo Evans, Sheryl Bees, Dale Brown, Matt Waters, Herman Pierce, and Kenny McGough. Ms. Williamson will lie-in-state at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Centenary Assembly of God Church from 6 - 8 pm.
