McLEOD, Mrs. Bessie Teague, 94, a resident of Luverne, AL died Friday, June 6, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Defee officiating. Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. McLeod was preceded in death by her husbands, Rogers Teague and Gerald McLeod, her daughter, Brenda T. Ward, and her great grandson, Baron Teague. She is survived by three children, Ruth T. (Robert) Horn, Harold (Mary Ann) Teague, and Diane T. (Jimmy) Williamson; eight grandchildren, Stanley (Kim) Foster, Greg (Melanie) Foster, Renee (Gerald) Kelley, Michelle (Mark) Himmelberger, Rodney (Lori) Teague, Scottie Teague, Teresa (Tim) Bayles, and Tim Williamson; fifteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, and her son-in-law, Lavon Ward. Active pallbearers will be Stanley Foster, Greg Foster, Rodney Teague, Scottie Teague, Tim Williamson, and Lee Kelley. Gerald Kelley and Mark Himmelberger will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 am.
