Betty Jean Bazzell

BAZZELL, Mrs. Betty Jean, 74, a resident of Luverne, AL died Thursday, January 1, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruby Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Brantley, AL with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Bazzell was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Bazzell, and her parents, Robert and Willie O. Blackwell. She is survived by two children, Tracey (Skipper) Davis and Christopher Blackwell; two grandchildren, Shasta (Christopher) White and Ashley Davis; five great grandchildren, Devin Wilkes, Maddy Bell Wall, Kodi Sheldon, Jaylen White, and Kinsley White; her sister, Kathleen (Johnny) Kelley; and two brothers, Leroy (Lucy) Blackwell, Sr. and Arthur Ray (Louise) Blackwell. Active pallbearers will be Timothy Blackwell, Shane Kelley, Charles Davis, Shannon Davis, Paul Kelley, and Christopher White. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Sunday from 12:30 pm until service time.
