Her memorial service will be held on March 16th at 2 pm at Turners Funeral Home in Luverne, Alabama. Betty leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Betty's life centered around her family, whom she cared for with unwavering dedication. She was the heart of her household, finding joy in nurturing her loved ones and creating cherished memories with them.
Beyond her role as a caregiver, Betty was a passionate cook and educator. Her kitchen was a hub of warmth and delicious aromas, where she shared her culinary expertise and taught others the art of cooking. Her love for food extended beyond her family, as she generously shared her meals and recipes with friends and neighbors, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of tasting her creations.
In addition to her culinary talents, Betty pursued various hobbies that brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, warmth, and passion for life.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Myrtle Hart. She is survived by her husband, Bob Bowles; her siblings, Bill Hart and wife MarJo Lexa, Vivian Colquett, and Gary Hart and his wife Jeannie Hart; her son, Brad Bowles and his wife Connie Bowles; her grandchildren, Eric Phillips and his wife Melissa Phillips, Zach Houston, Connor Bowles, Trane Bowles and Teagan Bowles; her great-grandchildren, Cayden Phillips, Dade Phillips and Gage Phillips; and her many extended family members and friends.
