Mrs. Beverly Staples Hall, 68, a resident of Grady, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. A graveside service for Mrs. Hall will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 17th, in Berea Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Hall was an accomplished business woman with a good head for management. She started her career as a real estate agent before moving on to become an apartment manager who was so efficient at her job that she was brought into the corporation side of the business as someone who could be sent where she was needed throughout the Atlanta area. In her free time, she loved fishing and reading. She also had an excellent green thumb that she exercised frequently in her sunroom with many lush plants and flowers. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who adored her family. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with them and they have built a treasure trove of cherished memories together that will last a lifetime.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her father & stepmother, Eddie & Lois Staples; mother, Jeanette Norrell Mills; and brother, Byron Nelson “Luckie” Staples. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 47 years, Bolton Hall III; children, Andrew D. (Ashley) Smarr, Adryan B. (Amanda) Hall, and Andrea H. (Waylon Sr) Gilreath; grandchildren, Blake Smarr, Katlin Smarr, Gentry Smarr,Jay Pickens, Gage Hulett, Waylon Gilreath Jr, Averi Hall, and Kaya Laudicina; great-granddaughter, Addison Smarr; and siblings, Linda Staples Field, Steven D. Staples, and Ronald L. Carter.
Active pallbearers will be Andrew Smarr, Ryan Hall, Blake Smarr, Waylon Gilreath Sr, Brian Gatlin, and Jim Fields.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM.
