COLQUETT, Bill, 91, a resident of Brantley, AL died Monday, December 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11am on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernie Enzor officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Colquett is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dolly Arthur Colquett; one sister, Ima Jean Colquett Turner; three brothers, Dick, Tom and Steve Colquett. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary Johnson Colquett; two children, Joseph(Brenda) Colquett and Carolyn Colquett(Jim) Cade; six grandchildren, Susan Jones, Scott(Cindy) Colquett, Stacey(Robbie) Slater, James(Naomi) Cade, Shea(LaWayne) Seiferman and Maia(Nick) Bordoumis; ten great grandchildren; sister, Louise Sasser; four brothers, Raymond Colquett, Lomax(Clara) Colquett, Charles(Mary Ann) Colquett and Robert(Erma Jean) Colquett. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Jones, Karl Eiland, Robbie Slater, Matthew Slater, Matthew Morgan and Ricky Kimbro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30am until service time.
