Bill Frank Fannin

FANNIN, Mr. Bill Frank, 83, a resident of Lapine died Wednesday September 11, 2013. Private graveside services were held on Thursday September 12, 2013 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Montgomery with Leslie Howell officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Bill served with the 31st Quarter Master Infantry Division of the Army National Guard during the Korean Conflict. He retired as Retail Route Supervisor with Hall Brothers Dairy after 36 years of service and was a member of Snowdoun Baptist Church. Mr. Fannin is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rebecca Ann. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Willie Mae Hudson Fannin; two daughters, Rose Mary Fannin Holder and Katherine Ann Fannin (Robert) Russell; and his only grandson, Cody O’Neal Russell. The family requests than any memorial donations may be made to the Snowdoun Baptist Church or the Montgomery Humane Society. The family offers a special thank you to Dr. Donald Marshall for all his kindness and support and to Bill’s devoted friends, Jim Bishop, Sr., Leslie Howell and to the late Alfred Meredith.
