Billy Ray Alexander

Mr. Billy Ray Alexander, 79, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. A graveside service for Mr. Alexander will be held at 2 PM in Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Stae Sanders officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Alexander was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle whose gift as a jack-of-all-trades will be sorely missed.

Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth G. Alexander; parents, Jesse and Opal Alexander; two brothers, Robert Douglas Boutwell and James Elbert Boutwell; and nephew, Johnny Bairefield. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shelia Marie and Tony Rolan; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Deborah Bairefield; and two nieces, Cynthia Brown (John) Bentley) and Jennifer (Landon) Devoter.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12: 15- 1:15 PM.
