FOWLER, Billy Gene, 74, a resident of Brantley died Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Powell and Justin Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in Brunson Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Fowler is preceded in death by his parents, Kyser and Louise Atwell Fowler and a brother, Sam Fowler. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Connie Price Fowler; a son, Stephen Fowler; a step-daughter, Mary Ann ( Joe) Madden; two grandchildren, Samuel Chad (Linda) Walters and Mary Ann (Roger) Casillas; five great grandchildren, Gabby Walters, Turner Walters, Michael Witherington, Breanaica Patterson, and Blake Patterson; and four sisters, Mary Bolding, Joyce Garner, Barbara Bradley and Betty (Rob) Baum. Active pallbearers will be Chad Walters,Danny Calhoun, David Best, Wayne Price, Lee Roy Price, and Sam Bo Harden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Thursday from 12:30 pm until service time.
