Billy Ray Norman

NORMAN, Mr. Billy R., 79, a resident of Luverne died Thursday May 29, 2014. Funeral services will be 3 pm Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Butts and Rev. Bernie Enzor officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Norman was preceded in death by an infant son, Victor Ray Norman; his parents, Wesley and Cletha Pynes Norman; and a brother, Joel Norman. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Sharon Kimbro Norman; four children, Pound (Liz) Lamb, Joel Norman, James Norman, and Pynes Norman; two grandchildren, Clay Lamb and Anna Lamb; a sister, Bobbye Covan; a brother, Phillip Norman; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette M. Norman.

Active pallbearers will be Wayne Norman, Wesley Norman, Jerry Covan, Scott Covan, William Sheffield, and Johnny Nichols.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1 pm until service time.
