Billy Cleveland Peters

PETERS, Mr. Billy Cleveland, age 67, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Longs Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Michael Stubbs officiating and Turner Funeral Home directing. Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alma Wolfe Peters, and his brother, Dennis Peters. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Grovie Lynn Peters, and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Harris, Tim Harris, Johnathan Harris, David Green, James Frazier, and Tim Kelley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:30-2:30pm.
