Bobby O'Neal Reeves

Mr. Bobby O’Neal Reeves, 74, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Reeves will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 27, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Cates and Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Bobby was a well-known and well-loved member of the community in Highland Home. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger and could have a good time wherever he was and with whomever he was with. He was an avid fan of racing and other sports, and he thoroughly enjoyed fishing whenever possible. Above all, he was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather, whose presence will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Melvin O. Reeves, and his niece, Heather Thomas. He is survived by his two sons, Keith (Karen) Reeves and Dennison Reeves; five grandchildren, Amber Reeves, Shelby Reeves, Lee Reeves, Aubrey Reeves, and Marianne Reeves; four great-grandchildren; his mother, Mae Dell Weaver; two siblings, Jo Ann (John) Thomas and Ricky Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Danny Register, Lee Reeves, Aubrey Reeves, Hayden Kirby, Ryan Jones, and Grant Brown. Larry Register, Jerry Register, Terry Lowe, and Winston Farrior will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 - 11 AM.
