Bonnie Harris Posey

POSEY, Mrs. Bonnie Harris, 68, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Posey will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 3, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jackson Posey, parents, Elbert and Lessie Sexton Harris, sister, Allie Jane Harris, and three brothers, Gene Harris, Wilson Harris, and Jimmy Harris. She is survived by her five children, Gerald (Renee) Kelley, Susan (Kenny) Frazier, Julie (Eland Beasley) Kelley, Stacy (Keenar) Kelley, and Kevin (Alisha) Posey, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Nora Harris, three brothers, James (Grace) Harris, Kenneth (Sheila) Harris, and Robert Harris. Active pallbearers will be Lee Kelley, Brandon Frazier, Hunter Posey, Eiland Beasley, Allen McGough, and Lamar Gray. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 – 2pm.
