Mr. Buford Lamar Hall, 73, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama in Greenville on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. A graveside service for Mr. Hall will be held 2 PM on Saturday, July 24th, in Bullock Community Cemetery in Brantley with Rev. Steve Defee officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mr. Hall proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. After his honorable discharge, Mr. Hall continued his service through the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department and the St. Leo’s College Police Department, both in Florida. After his return to Alabama, he went into the auto body repair business, working at several car dealerships in the area for many years. In his free time, he loved being outdoors and enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies. Everyone knew him as the kind of man you could always depend on to be there for you and his word was good as gold. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who adored his family and will be sorely missed by all of them.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Winnie Davis Hall, and four siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Nadine McAlphin Hall; three children, Randy (Mary Ann) Hall, Sharon (Johnny) Hatton, and Torrie (Caleb) Hyler; eight grandchildren, D.J. (Courtney) Hall, Devon (Jamie) Hall, Lexi Hall, Cheyenne Hall, Ashley Hines, Joseph Hatton, Emily Hyler and Michelle Hyler; four great-grandchildren, Maggie Hall, Sophia Hall, Madison Hall, and L.J. Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Hall, Caleb Hyler, D.J. Hall, Devon Hall, Greg Deavorus, and Johnny Hatton.
Family and friends will meet in the cemetery at the service time.
