MEREDITH, Mr. Odis A. “Butch,” 69, a resident of Crestview, Florida and formerly of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. A graveside service for Mr. Meredith will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 2, in Old Union Cemetery in Brantley with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Meredith was a graduate of Brantley High School and Auburn University, and he proudly served with the National Guard for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Odis and Katie Sue Rayborn Meredith. Mr. Meredith is survived by his loving companion of 10 years, Alma Cunningham; three children, Marcy Meredith, Audrey (Richard) Santmyres, and Andrew (Shannon) Meredith; two grandchildren, Kayla Santmyres and Colton Bear Meredith; brother, Ken (June) Meredith; niece, Keena Grissom; and nephew, Brad (Misty) Meredith. Active pallbearers will be Brad Meredith, Preston Yutzey, Brian Corlew, Mike Hall, Josh Rayborn, and Ronnie Hudson. Friends and family will meet in the cemetery on Saturday at the service time.
