Callie Parrish Compton

COMPTON, Mrs. Callie Lou Parrish, 83, a resident of Brantley died Saturday December 3, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday December 5, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. J. Richard Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in Cameron Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Compton is preceded in death by a husband, Coleman Compton and her parents, Johnny and Veta Wright Parrish. Survivors include her husband, Wilburn Compton; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Robin Compton; two grandchildren, Donna Compton and Chasidy Compton; two sisters, Gladys Hudson and Sybil Burgess; and a brother, Moxley Parrish. Active pallbearers will be Marvin Taylor, James Taylor, Blake Taylor, Jody Smith, Timbo Chance and Dusty Dean. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12:30pm until service time.
