Callie Caroline Lowe

LOWE, Mrs. Callie C. Sansom, 92, a resident of Luverne died Monday, January 19, 2015. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Lowe is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie H. Lowe; parents, Warren and Corene Skipper Sansom; a sister, Dorothy Mae Sansom; and two brothers, Clifford C. Sansom and Johnnie M. Sansom. She is survived by three children, Terry (Wilonese) Lowe, Jerry (Nancy) Lowe, and Anne Braxton; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou Bodiford and Ruby Lee Stallings; and a host of friends at Crenshaw Community Hospital. Active pallbearers will be Randall Lowe, James Lowe, Evin Braxton,II, John Braxton, Eric Lowe, and Will Segrest. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. S.P. Walker, TL Washington, Paul Creel, Rodney Clayton, and Robert Knight. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 pm until 8 pm and after 1 pm Thursday.In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Activities Department of Luverne Health and Rehabilation,LLC.
