CORLEY, Mr. Lucius Calvin, 85, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 25, at Word of Faith in Brantley with Rev. Keith Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Corley loved his family and friends with all of his heart, and, most of all, he loved and served God in such a way that everyone who came in contact with him knew it. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alene Tindal Corley; son, Timothy Corley; parents, Jack and Lessie Mae Oglesby Corley; three sisters and one brother. Mr. Corley is survived by his wife of 6 years, Sara Frances Nelson Corley, her children, and grandchildren; his five children, Carol (Ray) Cox, Janice (Larry) Coggins, Greg (Liz) Corley, Sherry (Frank) Cain, and Tammy Odom; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer (John John) Knighten, Lyndsay (Jamie) Taylor, Mendy Coggins, Ashley Coggins, Corey Coggins, Shane (Lynley) Corley, Brandon Corley, Paige Pritchett, and Amber Headley; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Debra (Rex) Majors; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 9:30 - 11 AM.
