Carey Wilson Hughes

Mr. Carey Wilson Hughes, 73, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed way due to complications from COVID-19 on Saturday, June 18th, 2022.

Mr. Hughes proudly served his country with the United States Navy in his youth. Afterwords, he spent most of his working career in either construction or agriculture.

Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Hudson & Ruth Tisdale Hughes. He is survived by two sons, Derek Hughes and Shane Hughes; his siblings, Steve Hughes, Leigh Jeffcoat, Lynn (Denny) Stallings, and Kelly (Bill) Henderson; and numerous nieces & nephews.

A memorial service has not been planned at this time.
