Carolyn T. Taylor

TAYLOR, Mrs. Carolyn T. (age 76), a resident of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015, surrounded by her family after her battle with cancer. Mrs. Taylor was a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Travis W. Taylor; daughter, Jane C. Taylor (Craig Workman), Marietta, GA; son, Dr. Trent (Kay) Taylor, Kansas City, MO; brother, Mr. Joseph (Merrill) Taylor, Prattville, AL; four grandchildren, Jarrett, Taylor, Jacob, and Nathaniel Workman; nephew, Tony (Martha) Sims, Wetumpka, AL; niece, Shelley (Kent) Lisle, Prattville, AL; and numerous cousins, aunts, extended family members, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 9 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home in Luverne, AL. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery in Brantley, AL with Turner Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, December 7 at H.M. Patterson Funeral Home, 1157 Old Canton Rd., Marietta, GA 30068. The family will also receive friends at Turner Funeral Home in Luverne on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time.
