Cecil Ray Thomas

THOMAS, Mr. Cecil Ray, 72, a resident of Enterprise, AL and formerly of Highland Home died Friday, December 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with ministers, Dennis Sanders and John Dickinson officiating. Interment will follow in Emmaus Cemetery, Luverne, AL, with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his mother, Eunice DePriest Thomas, and his father, John Hillary Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Richardson Thomas; his daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Freddy Arnold; two grandchildren, Mason Arnold and Jordan Arnold; one step-daughter, Tammie (Chris) Bryan; two step-grandchildren, Mallorie (Jason) Chandler and Sydnee Bryan; one step great grandson, Caleb Chandler; his sister, Carol (Bill) Bell; three brothers, James (Sally) Thomas, Ronnie (Martha) Thomas, and Larry (Nancy) Thomas; along with a number of loving nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Steven Thomas, Ronny Rhodes, Jason Smith, Daryel Cordell, Chris Bryan, Bill Bell, Brad Welch, and Wesley Sanders. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:30 pm until service time.
