Charles Keith Bailey

Mr. Charles Keith Bailey, 55, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Bailey will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 16, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Dr. Tony Dye officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Bailey’s family was his life, and he was a devoted son, father, husband, brother, and “Popa.” Farming was a lifelong passion of his, and there was nothing he enjoyed more. He was also the owner of Paradise Home Sales, and dedicated a good portion of his time to serving his community as the county commissioner for District 4. He had a love for life and helping others, and he never met a stranger. He was loved tremendously, and he will be truly missed.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his father, Alton Bailey. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Lucy Bailey; four children, Courtney (Danny) Dewrell, Nicki Page, Dawn Finch, and Johnathon Finch; five grandchildren, Brycen Page, Chloe Dewrell, Gage Finch, Rachel Finch, and Ryan Turner; mother, Merlene Mount Bailey; two sisters, Shirlon (Tony) Dye and Pam Bailey; nephew, Ben (Amber) Dye; niece, Bethany (Gunter) Akridge; four great-nieces and great-nephew, Bailey, Ella, Reid, and Rebekah.

Active pallbearers will be David Morris, Paul Cook, Brian Morris, Daryl Mount, Charlie Brundidge, and Sammy Noblin. Honorary pallbearers will be Benji Sanders, David Smyth, Charlie Sankey, Merrill Sport, Raymond McGough, and Bo Mount.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 - 11 AM.
