Charles Owens

OWENS, Mr. Charles, 68, a resident of Luverne died Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10 AM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home directing. Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Ruby Lee Green Owens, and a brother, Billy Ray Owens. He is survived by two children, Charles Edward Owens and Judy (Dennis) Walden; three grandchildren, Ashley Owens, Paige Owens, and Justin Scroggins; two sisters, Yvonne Atkinson and Shelia (Phillip) Schofield; and one brother, Benny (Susan) Owens. Active pallbearers will be Charles DeVoss, Jim Bees, Nicholas Atkinson, Corey Owens, Paul Allen, and Hunter DeVoss. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 pm.
