Charles Pomeroy Richardson

RICHARDSON, Mr. Charles Pomeroy, 73, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Funeral services for Mr. Richardson will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, March 11, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Minister Charles Sipper and Minister John Dickinson officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mary Beth Marshall, his father, W.P. Richardson, and two brothers-in-law, Peter Burrows and Cecil Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean Schultz Richardson, three children, Brian (Becky) Richardson, Britt (Misty) Richardson, and Beth (Matthew) Marshall, nine grandchildren, Celeste (Adam) Davis, Lucas Richardson, Hope Richardson, Brittney Richardson, Evan Richardson, Jake Pevsner, Josef Richardson, Maggie Marshall, Mollie Marshall, and Marcie Marshall, two great-grandchildren, Axton Salvato and Olivia Richardson, mother, Eloise Richardson, and two sisters, Joyce R. Burrows and Elaine Thomas. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Henderson, Joey Carpenter, Calvin Stephens, Max Whiddon, Lucas Richardson, and Josef Richardson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 – 3pm.
