Mr. Weeks was a dedicated worker who always believed in the value of hard work. He spent most of his working career as a valued service technician at Nichols Oldsmobile in Enterprise until his retirement. In his personal life, he was well-known for his quiet and reserved demeanor. He was the rare kind of man who could be happy with just his own company, though he also truly cherished his time with his family, especially his beloved wife until her passing in 2011. He had a kind and giving heart that made sure all of the neighborhood cats always had a little something to eat. He especially enjoyed spending his time out in nature, whether it was picking up pecans in the fall or faithfully tending to his beloved rosebushes. He was a special man and he will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Inez Hall Weeks; parents, William Harvey & Carrie Bell Carnley Weeks; and siblings, William C. Weeks, Ellis B. Weeks, and Irene Brown. He is survived by his children, Eloise Teel, Patricia Nobles, Shirley Brown, Billy Williamson, and Helen Bryan; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; siblings, James H. Weeks, Evelyn Sims, JoAnn Welch, and Elizabeth Howard; and numerous nieces & nephews.
