MOODY, Mrs. Charlotte Gipson, 63, a resident of Montgomery died Monday February 24, 2014. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday February 28, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby DuBois officiating . Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Moody is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Louise Moore Gipson and Mavis P. Gipson. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Frank Moody; two daughters, Jennifer G. (Casey) Rutland and Amy (Brian) Peters; three grandchildren, Cade and Shelby Rutland and Grayson Peters; two step-children, Monica McLeod and Marcus (Liz) Moody; sister, Wanda (Mike) Hicks; two brothers, Louis (Connie) Gipson and Howard (Linda) Gipson; step-sister, Margaret (William) Pierce; and two step-brothers, Larry (Judy) Weaver and Mike (Dianne) Weaver. Active pallbearers will be Joseph Hicks, Adam Hicks, Chad Carpenter, Colby Carpenter, Daniel Weaver and Blake Weaver. Richard Weaver will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
