Christina Bryan Foster

September 23, 1979 — October 14, 2024

Glenwood

Christina Bryan Foster, 45, a resident of Glenwood, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Flowers Hospital in Dothan on Monday, October 14th, 2024. Funeral services for Christina will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 18th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Brother Stae Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday for one hour prior to service time.

Christina was truly blessed with such a bubbly personality and infectious laugh that she could easily light up any room she walked into. The key there was that she really and truly simply loved people, which is quite a rare trait these days. She enjoyed the time she spent with others, whether they were family, friends, or complete strangers. There was no one she couldn't talk to with her gift of putting people at ease and simply lighting up their lives with the innate brightness she possessed. You never truly know the value of someone like Christina until you are blessed to have them in your lives because they always improve it through their kindness, generosity, and love.

Now, Christina was certainly an outgoing and easygoing person, but never doubt that her bubbly personality didn't mask a woman with enough determination and strength of will to handle anything life threw at her...which she certainly experienced raising seven children! They all considered themselves blessed to have a mother who loved nothing more than staying home to raise them with all the love that was possible and her favorite thing to do was spend time with her children. In what little free time she had, she also enjoyed gardening and sunflowers, or really anything that she could do outside, whether it was just taking a walk through nature or going to a favorite fishing pond. She absolutely loved her canine and feline companions over the years too. Above all, she was a devoted mother and "MeMaw" to her beloved grandchildren who leaves behind a remarkable legacy of love and light that shown as brightly as the stars for far too short a time.

Christina was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Bryan; grandparents, Charlie & Glenna Bryan; and cousins, Patrick Bryan and Allison Bryan. She is survived by her longtime spouse, Jason Miles; children, Kimberly Foster, Jason Adams, Joseph Adams, Elizabeth Bryan, Joshua Adams, Ocean McBride, and Maya McBride; stepchildren, Leanna Miles and Jared Miles; grandchildren, Jameson Phillips and Miles Nelson; parents, Gary & Teresa Wadsworth Bryan; uncle, Ricky (Peggy) Bryan; nephews, Chase Reaves and Hagen Parl; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Jeremiah Phillips, Mike Brunson, Eric Butler, Dan Miles, Randy Miles, and Jared Miles.
