Chuck Eliott Moseley, 50, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 8th, 2026. Funeral services for Chuck will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 13th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Defee officiating. A private interment will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday for one hour prior to the service.
Chuck was a proud 1998 graduate of Troy University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He later spent 19 years as a supervisor on an offshore oil rig and recently worked as a supervisor for Wiley Sanders Trucking. Wherever he was, he was guaranteed to be a highly valued employee because Chuck was no stranger to hard work. Not only was he hard-working, he was also a jack of all trade who could do just about whatever was asked of him. In his free time, he loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, as well as racing. One of his favorite memories was building a race car with his son Tyler and brother Todd, because those are memories that they'll never forget.
Look, one thing you can say about Chuck is that he was always unapologetically himself. You never had to guess where you stood with him, nor what he thought. He was bold in thought and deed throughout his life, and you learned quickly not to ask his opinion unless you really wanted it! But, he was also an extremely kind man, especially with those he loved the most, with a goofy, playful side that could keep you constantly entertained. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to the family he loved with every fiber of his being. He was always a very involved father in his kids' lives. They were fortunate to be able to trust he always had their backs against the world and knew they could always count on his support.
As much as he loved his own children, boy those grandkids were just something special. He was the best "Papi" to them as well. He never missed one of Kasen's T-ball games and he'd be the first to hop on the trampoline with them or have a blast on their inflatable water slide. More importantly, he nourished his family's love of God and even bought each of his children, and their partners, a Bible in a Year to encourage their knowledge of the Lord's Word. Words cannot express how terribly Chuck will be missed by all those who knew and loved him, but they will all hold tightly to every precious memory they made together over the years.
Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Anissa Moseley; mother, Debra Hudson; and brother, Chad Moseley. He is survived by his children, Alissa (Sly) Weaver and Tyler Moseley; grandchildren, Kasen & Kinsley Weaver; parents, Dennis & Debbie Moseley; brother, Todd (Courtney) Moseley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Tyler Moseley, Sly Weaver, Austin Meads, Scott Beck, Will Keenan, and Zeke Johnson.
