Clarence "Johnny" Leroy Koontz

KOONTZ, Mr. Clarence L. “Johnny”, age 83, a resident of Highland Home, AL died Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11 AM in Sardis Cemetery with Elder Jerry Register officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Koontz is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Dean Beasley Koontz; his son, Danny Lane Koontz; and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Carl) Massey and Donna (David) Koontz; four grandchildren, Misty (Ben) Blackmon, Mandy (Benji) Hobbs, Amy (Christopher) Mansmann, and Denise (Jake) Strength; fourteen great grandchildren; and two sisters and a brother. Active pallbearers will be Ben Blackmon, Christopher Mansmann, Benji Hobbs, Clay Hobbs, Jimmy Massey and Danny Bush. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery just prior to service time Friday morning.
