Cletha Pynes Norman

NORMAN, Mrs. Cletha Pynes, 99, a resident of Luverne died Friday November 25, 2011. She was born in Crenshaw County on April 20, 1912 to Columbus M. and Annie L. Pynes and was a life long resident of Crenshaw County. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday November 29, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Butts and Rev. Burney Enzor officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Pynes is preceded in death by her husband, L.W. Norman; a son, Joel Wesley Norman; her parents; and three brothers and four sisters. Survivors include three children, Billy R. (Sharon) Norman, Bobbye Covan and Phillip Norman; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Norman; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Jerry Covan, Scott Covan, Wayne Norman, Wesley Norman, James Norman, Joel Norman and Pound Lamb. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 pm until service time.
