Clifton Cecil Petty Jr

PETTY, Mr. Clifton, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. A graveside service for Mr. Petty will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 12, in Berea Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Francisco officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Petty was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Cecil Sr. and Madolyn Macie Pruitt Petty, two sisters, Macie Jene Petty and Verlene Chesser, and two brothers, Tommy Harold Petty and William Petty. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Booth Petty, three children, Tonya Petty (William Bell), Shane (Natasha) Petty, and Chris Petty, six grandchildren, Brandon Currie, Cameron Bell, Destiny Petty, Hannah Petty, Judah Petty, and Micah Petty, sister, Mila Mae Flowers, and brother, Lamar (Tammy) Petty. Active pallbearers will be William Bell, Brandon Currie, Shane Petty, Corey Petty, Casey Petty, and Kyle Petty. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 - 1:30pm.
