Connie Jewel Hayes

HAYES, Mrs. Connie Jewel, 74, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Funeral services for Mrs. Hayes with be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 15, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Daniel “Gabby” Hayes, son, Travis Hayes, parents, Sam and Clemmie Boswell Reeves, three sisters, Dolly Owens, Doris Boswell, and Gladys Boswell, and two brothers, Olin Reeves and Bill Reeves. She is survived by her three children, Gary Scott (Daphne) Hayes, Tabatha Hayes, and Sherry Hayes, four grandchildren, Brandon Scott Hayes, Brandon Tyler Hayes, Baylie Hayes, and Breely Hayes, and two brothers, Thurman “Short” Reeves and Bobby Reeves. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Tyler Hayes, Barry Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Jamie Edwards, Scott Hayes, and Brandon Scott Hayes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10 – 11 AM.
