Cora L. "Cokey" Humphrey

HUMPHREY, Mrs. Cora L. “Cokey,” 82, a resident of Goshen, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Funeral services for Mrs. Humphrey will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 28, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Hodge and Rev. Scott Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Goshen, Alabama with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Humphrey was preceded in death by her son, James Humphrey Jr., parents, Wright and Birtie King Williamson, two sisters, Ree Burkett and Vada Kervin, and brother, Roy Williamson. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James V. Humphrey Sr., two children, Jo Ann Lashley and Jeffrey D. Humphrey, and sister, Edna Dean. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Jones, Dale Sharp, Neal Justice, Travis Jones, Christian Jones, and Tommy Manns. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 27, from 6 – 8pm.
