Dallas Simmons

SIMMONS, Mr. Dallas, 78, a resident of Valley, AL and formerly of Luverne died Monday, January 12, 2015. Memorial graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Zoar Cemetery, Elba, AL with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Claudie Bryan Simmons; one sister, Carolyn Simmons; and five brothers, Harper, John, Waylon, Tullis, and Jerry Ray Simmons. Survivors include three children, Mike Simmons, Greg (Donna) Simmons, and Leann (Doug) Shumate; five grandchildren, Anthony Simmons, Code (Allyson) Simmons, Hudson , Hannah, and Hank Shumate; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Maxine Jones, Mable Hamm, Doris (James) Morgan, and Judy (Charles) Rogers; and two brothers, Dwayne (Charlotte) Simmons and Guy (Shirley) Simmons. Dallas loved the outdoors and especially to squirrel hunt and fish. Turner Funeral Home of Luverne in charge of local arrangements.
