PALMER, Mr. Danny Wayne, 58, a resident of McKenzie died Saturday March 22, 2014. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday , March 25, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Lane Simmons and Donnie Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Palmer; his father, Claude Palmer; and a sister, Susan Ann Palmer. Survivors include two children, Michael Palmer and Michelle (Robert) Rainey; three grandchildren, Wesley, Kristen, and Noah Rainey; his mother, Ruth Holmes Duke; three sisters, Linda Jenkins, Shelia (James) Buchanan, and Patsy (Chris) Dunklin; and three brothers, John “Bo” Duke, Charles “Cotton” Duke, and Rickey (Santana) Duke. Active pallbearers will be Mac Johnson, Tony Mount, Michael Palmer, Rickey Duke, John “Bo” Duke, Robert Rainey, and Charles “Cotton” Duke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:30pm until service time.
